• DYNAMIC AND INTERACTIVE

The sisters of the Pauline Center for Media Studies offer dynamic presentations on a variety of topics related to media literacy, media mindfulness, faith formation in a digital age, cultivating a dialogue between faith and pop culture, and media spirituality. Each sister is well-qualified as a speaker, whether she is internationally renowned, hosts a TV show, is a published author, or has close to 25,000 followers on Twitter. Every presentation is interactive, tailored to the needs of the individual audience, and usually integrates media clips into the content. The film retreats and cinema divina nights offered by the Pauline Center for Media Studies are also a great way to integrate prayer and media.

  • ABOUT THE PAULINE CENTER FOR MEDIA STUDIES

The Pauline Center for Media Studies (PCMS) is a mission project of the Daughters of St. Paul focused on developing and encouraging media literacy/media mindfulness within culture, education, and faith formation. In media mindfulness, we use critical thinking skills to question the media and discern the values of media messages, engaging them with the Gospel.
